My current research addresses the consequences changes in legal assistance have for criminal investigations and its participants. Within this research I have a special interest for police questioning and the relation between interrogation techniques and the willingness of suspects to give a statement. An additional research interest is the investigation of group crime and organized crime using social network analysis.
