Lisa van Reemst is a researcher and lecturer at the department of Criminology of the Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus University in Rotterdam. She holds a Master of Science degree in Social Psychology from Utrecht University and her PhD thesis is about aggression against emergency responders. In addition, she teaches courses related to psychology and research skills.

Lisa’s research interests are conflict dynamics, workplace victimization and explaining variations in (repeat) victimization. Lisa van Reemst’s PhD research examines to what extent characteristics of employees are related to experienced workplace victimization of police officers, firefighters and emergency medical workers. She uses longitudinal survey designs and exploratory interviews to study this topic.
